The venue is St Mary’s CBS Glen Road, Belfast and cost is £80.

You must have completed your foundation hurling and child protection before you take the level 1.

Essential Core Strength
Date: 05 December 2007
Edmund Rice College, Hightown Road,, 7.30pm
Course Outcomes:

By the end of the course the coach will;

*|Be able to use the equipment safely & correctly
*|Receive an introduction to Weight training
*|Able to plan a programme of strength work for his/her players

Content:

The course will include the following;

*|Identify Good Posture and its importance
*|Basic Technique while using weights.
*|Demonstrate functional training for Core strength building.
*|Power Training

This is an indoor practical observational session; there is no participation for attending coaches (players from St. Enda's club will undertake practical).

Tutor:
Tommy Stevenson

Tommy is the Strength and Conditioning coach with the Armagh Minor Football team and is also currently working with the County Senior Hurling Team. He has worked in a consultancy role with many Ulster clubs in the field of Strength And Conditioning.
