Bainisteoir – Hurling©, the first ever hurling strategy game, has been created by Tipperary software company Tailteann Games. It is a management game for the PC which allows you to train and manage your favourite county team through an entire season including challenge matches, the National League and the Championship and experience all the highs and lows as of a real life Bainisteoir (manager) .
At the launch of Bainisteoir – Hurling©, Nicky English, All-Ireland winning manager and player with Tipperary, said,
“This game imitates every imaginable aspect of a real life senior county manager. The attention to detail, particularly in relation to the planning of training sessions and match tactics, adds greatly to the realism and authenticity of the game.”
In the game, the role of the bainisteoir (manager) includes negotiating with sponsors, putting together a backroom staff, devising fitness and training regimes as well as selecting your side and the tactics for the weekend’s big match. As bainisteoir (manager), you will also have to deal with the media and cope with player discipline and morale.
