We've all done it.. Battered a Sliotar of a wall to pass time until the stitching gives in and the leather finally submits and comes flying off! Well this is becoming more popular as a method of training for hurler and camogs of all ages to improve their hurling skills. Conventional sliotars deteriorate quickly and are less responsive so with this in mind we've developed a sliotar specially for use in ball alleys.
Made from a special PU material to emulate the feel of a regular sliotar, which is not only more durable and economical but the Scullion Hurls 'Alley Ball' has also been given a slightly quicker responce to improve reactions.
See www.scullionhurls.com for more on any of our hurling sticks and accessories or visit the Hurley Shop at our factory in Loughguile. Scullion Hurls emphasise on quality when making there hurling sticks, only the best root ash is selected then seasoned before being machined and hand finished by Micheal Scullion in the Loughguile workshop.
An alley ball is part of a prize pack in this months Saffron Óg Competitions.
