St Marys win McLarnon Cup
After the great win for St Louis Ballymena St Mary's CBS Belfast made it a great boost for Antrim schools when after a great battle with St Columbs Derry the Belfast school had two points to spare at the end to claim their first McLernon cup victory. Manager Donal Armstrong a former dual star with Antrim must have been happy as apart from the victory son Michael scored the only goal of the game.
Good Win for Ballycastle School
In the final of the Forresters cup at a wet and windy Larne Cross and Passion College Ballycastle Defeated old rivals St Mary's Belfast by three points after leading by ten points to no score at the interval Congratulations to all concerned.
National Leagues
Antrims footballers are unbeaten with wins over Wicklow Kilkenny Clare and Carlow in div 4 of the league. The next two games are away to London and Tipperary while on 20th April play Waterford in Casement Park. Hopefully Antrim will gain promotion this year to div 3.
Unfortunately the hurlers despite a great victory over Wexford look like playing div 2 hurling next season .
