Summer Camps

I bet you kids are all glad that the summer holidays are just around the corner. We hope you will be attending some of the various summer camps that will be taking place over the summer. They are of course great craic, as well as being a week where you will learns lots and and also be coached by some of the top coaches in Ulster. The camps taking place through out the county are the VHI Cul Camps and the Saffron Óg Camps.

 


Cúl Camps

Cul CampsA nationally coordinated programme, Vhi Cul Camps encourages children to learn and develop sporting and life-skills by participating in a Gaelic Games, in a fun, non-competitive environment.

Irrespective of sporting skill or ability, at Vhi Cul Camps children are encouraged to:

Children will also receive a full set of Vhi playing gear (jersey, shorts and socks) and a nifty knapsack!

Saffron Og Camps

Calling all 4-6 year olds - get involved in our New Saffron Óg Summer Camp.

Saffron Óg camps are the first of its kind in Ulster GAA and are specifically designed to develop the fundamental skills of children e.g. agility, balance, coordination, catching, running, jumping and throwing.  The main themes of these camps is "FUN" and are delivered by specifically trained Ulster GAA Fundamental coaches.

Saffron Óg will run Monday to Thursday, 10.30am to 12.30pm at a cost of £15.  Each child will receive an Antrim GAA t-shirt as recognition of his/her participation.
