Congratulations!...
...To Caitrin Dobbin who took part in the mini sevens competition in Croke Park. She recalls her experience..
“My name is Caitrin Dobbin and i am a pupil of St Patrick's PS Loughgiel. I was very fortunate to be choosen to represent my school and county in the mini sevens competitions which were held in Croke Park, Dublin on the 12th August 2007. When we arrived in Dublin we had to meet all the other children who would also be participating. I met girls and boys from many other Irish counties and i got a team photograph taken.
I played at half time during the Waterford/Limerick game and i was very pleased to find that i was playing for Waterford. I played in their kit and i got to keep it too. My family came to watch and it was one of the most exciting experiences i have ever had.
I will always remember the day i got to play in Croke Park and i also have a certificate to prove it!”
